Red sightings photo gallery...

Some of you reporting your sightings have also sent in red squirrel photos, for which we are very grateful. Red squirrel photos are always charming to look at, but they can also serve a more serious purpose in helping to substantiate our red sightings data. It is for this reason that we are encouraging you to send in photos whenever possible so that they can be included in the gallery.

If you are lucky enough to have a photo of a red squirrel(s) taken this year, we would be very pleased to display it in the gallery. You can send photos attached to an email to: sightings@westmorlandredsquirrels.org.uk You should also include in the email the usual sightings data we ask for: date, number of reds seen, grid reference (or post code), a brief description of the location, a description of the squirrel(s) eg colour of tail etc, your name and telephone number.

We are not including the names of photographers with the photos, but can do so if you specifically request it.

Remember, it's not a photo competition - all we ask is that the subject is identifiable as a red squirrel!
